Tour Highlights

The beautiful city of Caserta is famous for its Royal Palace, the Italian 'Versailles' and the surrounding grounds which date back to the 18th century: its majesty and grandeur will impress you. It was proclaimed a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. The sovereign called the architect Luigi Vanvitelli to the court to design the building whose construction began in 1751 and ended in 1845. Inside the building there is a chapel inspired by the palace of Versailles with works by Michele Scaroina, Salvator Rosa and the best students of the Academy of Fine Arts in Naples. To contribute to the majesty of the palace there are the 3km of park on 120 hectares of surface. Very suggestive are the fountains that connect the Italian garden to the English ones. To maintain the Neapolitan style, inside the royal palace there is a Royal Nativity set up in the elliptical hall of the palace. The city of Caserta offers a wonderful history with a thousand facets. We will help you discover them all by taking you on a wonderful tour.
